Happy Indie Tuesday!

As I continue putting together an awesome lineup for you for the summer (which will kick off next week!), I am considering some other additions to the site  which will give you more weekly content!

I would like to continue using Tuesdays to feature interviews with Indie creators of all kinds and I would like to include some other content throughout the week. So I’d like to tell you a little bit about the types of posts I’m thinking of including and then you get to vote and/or comment to let me know what you would like to read

Indie Music – A weekly post sharing and reviewing less-than-mainstream music. This would be separate from Indie Tuesday interviews with the musicians and would help you find some great new favorite music.

Indie Flashback – This weekly post would be for the nerd in me (and you), and would take a look at fabulous indie artists, musicians, writers, and creators from the past.  I frequently stumble across fabulous paintings, writing, music and other goodies, and after a little digging find out that the mind behind the magic was/is totally fascinating and often underappreciated. This type of post would introduce you to not only new indie goodness in a variety of mediums, but also the factoids behind them. I suspect these posts could make for good dinner party/first date conversational fodder.

Local Indie Shoutouts – This type of post would help YOU get the word out about some of your favorite local indie businesses. You would be able to submit photos of you and your favorite indie businesses and I would randomly select one each week to feature.  This would add some varied regional flavor and help other readers or tourists in your area to find the best indie places to frequent
